Capco
Capco, a global
management and technology consultancy, has appointed Paul
Riseborough as managing partner for its business in the UK.
Riseborough was formerly a partner in Capco’s UK Banking and Payments practice, working with clients to deliver tailored solutions. Based in London, Riseborough will also become a member of Capco’s global senior leadership team.
With 20 years' financial services industry expertise, he joined Capco in March 2023 from Nationwide Building Society. At Nationwide, he was managing director and head of everyday banking and also a member of the firm’s executive leadership team. Riseborough managed a cross-functional team focused on delivering banking products, services and experiences to their customers and leading a variety of transformation and efficiency programmes. Prior to that role, he was chief commercial officer and a member of the executive committee at Metro Bank. Riseborough has also worked at Lloyds Banking Group and HBOS.
EdenTree Investment Management
EdenTree
Investment Management, a specialist in responsible and
sustainable asset management, has appointed Lauren Smith as
associate fund manager on its £743 million ($963.5 million)
European equities strategy.
Smith (pictured) was previously a global equity analyst at Rathbones, where she provided sector and company analysis across the consumer discretionary and mining sectors. Before that she served in investment roles at BlackRock and British Airways Pensions Investment Management.
Smith, who joined earlier in the month, will work with Chris Hiorns, EdenTree’s head of multi asset and European equities and lead manager on the firm’s European equities strategy, enhancing capacity and investment support across the firm’s European equities portfolios, including the EdenTree Responsible & Sustainable European Equity Fund.
“Lauren is a natural fit for EdenTree, bringing with her a wealth
of fresh insight and experience of generating attractive
long-term investment ideas,” Charlie Thomas, chief investment
officer, EdenTree, said.
Gen II Fund Services
Gen II
Fund Services has appointed former Hg Capital senior figure
Alan Ince as chief transformation officer. This is a global
role.
Ince will be responsible for developing new processes and
products, Gen II Fund Services said yesterday in a statement.
Ince brings more than 15 years’ experience to the job.
Gen II Fund Services provides fund administration services,
catering to private capital asset managers and investors. The
business was founded in 2009; it has offices in North
America and Europe, and oversees more than $1 trillion of private
fund capital. In June 2024, it completed its purchase of
Crestbridge, a European provider of private capital fund
administration services.
