Who’s Moving Where in Wealth Management? – Sarasin & Partners, LCM Partners

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, the Middle East and other select locations.
Sarasin & Partners
Sarasin
& Partners – the global thematic investment manager which
invests £18.2 billion ($22.8 billion) on behalf of charities,
private clients, intermediaries, and institutions, as at 30
September – has added two investment professionals.
Edward Lloyd, who has been appointed as a senior investment manager, previously spent six years at Quilter Cheviot where he managed investments on behalf of private clients, trusts, charities and their professional advisors. Alongside senior associate partner Ben Gilbert, Lloyd will build the firm’s Model Portfolio Service (MPS) – a multi-asset platform solution for financial advisors and their clients, managed in line with Sarasin & Partners’ long-term, thematic, global outlook.
Jack Brodie has joined the Sarasin Bread Street team as an investment analyst. Sarasin & Partners acquired Bread Street Capital in 2022, forming the specialist private markets business Sarasin Bread Street. This team provides clients with improved access to a range of private markets investment opportunities. Brodie was previously at Cabot Credit Management and Boston Consulting Group.
“The addition of Edward and Jack to our investment team further enhances our ability to deliver investment solutions to capitalise on the most impactful trends shaping our world,” Subitha Subramaniam, head of asset management at Sarasin & Partners, said.
These hires follow the appointments of Alastair Baker as multi-asset fund manager and Cédric Phounpadith as head of investment Risk, as reported here. In November the firm appointed six new partners.
LCM Partners
LCM Partners
has appointed Julian Schiller as a managing director and head of
capital solutions in its senior management team. LCM said that
this strategic hire underscores the firm's commitment to
strengthening its leadership team with seasoned industry
professionals.
Schiller, who has vast experience across the asset management industry as well as broader financial services, previously worked at Brookfield and JLL. During his tenure at Brookfield, he was closely involved with LCM's business and its strategic direction in his role as a board director. The firm said that his expertise in capital formation, product development and client service would be instrumental in driving both capital and client initiatives for the business. As part of the role, Schiller will oversee LCM's global sales efforts and will join the product development team.
"Having watched Julian work at close range I know that his skills and insights around capital coupled with his impressive track record within the industry will make him an invaluable addition to our team," Paul Burdell, CEO LCM Partners, said.
