Willis Group Names CEO For Wealth Planning Division In Singapore; Makes Other Hires

The US-headquartered firm involved in risk advisory and related fields is building out a wealth management offering, and has announced senior appointments for Asia, and other regions.
Willis Group Holdings, the global risk advisory, re/insurance broking, and human capital and benefits firm, said yesterday it has appointed a number of senior figures to roles across the world – including Asia - for its wealth planning division, Willis Global Wealth Solutions.
Craig Ellis has been appointed chief executive, GWS Singapore. Ellis joins from Old Mutual International where he served as head of region and CEO of Singapore and south-east Asia.
Ellis reports to Odd Haavik, who will now focus on his regional role as CEO, Asia and Europe for GWS.
Santiago Lombardozzi has been appointed to the global position of head of products and solutions for Wills GWS. He will be based in Boston, Massachusetts, where he will lead the development of new products and solutions.
In his global role, he will report to Yves Guélat, global CEO of GWS. Lombardozzi has 13 years of experience in the high net worth planning field and joins Willis from International Planning Group.
GWS has also appointed two new directors for relationship management: Nikki Koh, is channel manager for GWS Singapore and Benny Tsoi is channel manager for GWS Hong Kong.
With roots dating to 1828, Willis operates today on every continent with more than 18,000 employees in over 400 offices.
