Yorkshire Bank Appoints New Regional Director

Yorkshire Bank yesterday announced two key moves which saw Kath Myers, previously regional director for international financial solutions (IFS), promoted to divisional director of IFS payment solutions, and Richard Norrington fill her role as regional director - a position which includes responsibility for private banking services.
Ms Myers, who joined the bank as an office junior in 1979, will be responsible for heading up in the newly created payment solutions division.
Mr Norrington will oversee eight financial solutions centres – offering business and private banking services – across Yorkshire and the North East, and work closely with the director of corporate structured finance in Yorkshire, David Maybury.
Mr Norrington joins Yorkshire Bank from its sister Clydesdale Bank, where he was regional director for the East.
Yorkshire Bank, a subsidiary of National Australia Bank, saw its annual pre-tax profits fall £235 million (approx $391 million) to £108 million in the 12 months to 30 September 2009.
