UK Wealth Manager Names New Chief Operating Officer

has brought in Adrian Clark as its new chief operating officer, replacing Ben Cooper, who is taking a commercial director role at the firm. Based in Bristol, Clark will ensure that all business areas across England and Scotland comply with policies on remuneration, human resources, training and customer servicing. His background includes helping to develop Legal & General’s presence in South Wales during his nine years as COO of the Cardiff location. He was awarded an OBE for his contribution to the financial services industry in Wales. In his new role, meanwhile, Cooper will be responsible for the non-organic expansion of the firm, among other duties. “The business is growing steadily and we are still very much committed to developing our presence across the whole of the UK, ultimately meaning more hires,” said Graham Coxell, executive chairman. Indeed, last month Marcus Adams was appointed as chief risk officer, a newly-created role.
