Global Fiduciary, Trusts Firm Appoints MD For Jersey; Predecessor Switches To Singapore

The corporate services provider has announced top-level appointments in Europe and Asia.
Vistra Group,
the global corporate service provider for trust, fiduciary and
other services, has announced that Jane Pearce will join its
Jersey office as managing director. She replaces Chris
Burton, who will move to Vistra’s Singapore office as managing
director after holding the reins in Jersey for five years.
Pearce will lead the corporate, fund administration and private
client trust business on the island in her new role. Before
joining Vistra, she worked with the States of Jersey Chief
Ministers Department as part of a team consulting on the proposed
changes to Jersey’s regulatory environment for the funds
industry.
Previously, Pearce was a partner and group director of Ogier
Group. Her experience in administering and accounting for complex
investment structures includes positions at Deutsche Bank,
Gartmore and Kleinwort Benson. She started her accountancy career
with Ernst & Young in 1991.
“With Jane’s experience in the funds area and a mandate to grow
the business in Jersey both organically and via acquisition, we
are convinced that Jane will be a very important asset to build
Vistra’s business both locally and contribute to the growth of
the whole group,” said the firm's chief executive, Martin
Crawford.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of managing Vistra
Jersey,” Pearce said. “We are in an excellent position to grow
and I am excited to be on board as part of a great team locally,
and internationally as part of a top four global CTS
player.”
At the start of the year, Vistra Group rebranded as the firm
continued to expand, in part by several acquisitions.
