Deutsche Asset Management Names APAC Real Estate Leader

This publication brings latest news of moves and appointments in Asian wealth management.

Deutsche Asset Management, part of the Frankfurt-headquartered bank, has appointed Victoria Sharpe as managing director and head of real estate for the Asia-Pacific region.

Sharpe will be based out of Singapore and report to Pierre Cherki, head of alternatives. She will also join the Deutsche AM APAC executive committee, which is chaired by Jon Eilbeck, head of Deutsche AM, APAC, Deutsche Bank said in a statement.

Sharpe has more than 30 years of experience developing and executing global real estate strategies, working in London, New York, Singapore and Munich, the bank said.

Most recently, she was head of the global client capital group at TH Real Estate, where she led the executive leadership team. Prior to that, she held positions as managing director at Prudential Investment Management and senior managing director, head of Asia-Pacific, for Prudential Real Estate Investors.

In addition, Rahul Ghai has been appointed head of transactions for Asia-Pacific. This expanded role will see him lead transactions across the region.
