ABN AMRO Appoints Senior Sustainability Advisor

The Dutch banking group has created a new role for its sustainable banking specialist in Asia.
ABN AMRO has appointed Ghislaine Nadaud as a senior sustainability advisor for its energy, commodities and transportation clients in Asia.
Nadaud, who started her career in law, joined ABN AMRO in 2006 as legal counsel. Since 2011, she has specialised in sustainable banking, policy and risk management.
In the new Singapore-based role, she will drive engagement with clients, non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders on matters related to sustainability risk management as well as business development.
ABN AMRO’s energy, commodities and transportation department provides banking services to global clients in sectors such as commodity finance, shipping, agriculture, oil and gas, offshore oil services and natural resources.
A reported last week, the group's chief executive, Gerrit Zalm, will step down next year before his term ends. His successor will be announced in due course.
