VP Bank (Singapore) Names New Chief

A new figure takes the helm of the bank's Singapore operations.

Bruno Morel has been appointed as the new chief executive of VP Bank (Singapore), part of Liechtenstein-headquartered VP Bank, taking the reins from Rajagopal Govindarajoo, formerly managing director of that entity, it confirmed to WealthBriefingAsia.

According to Morel’s LinkedIn profile, which had not been updated to reflect his new post at the time of writing, he was most recently head of private banking for CIC, a role he held from April 2013. From December 2011 to April 2013, he was head of private banking advisory at the same firm. From June 2010 to December 2011, he was head of treasury and structured products for Asia at ABN AMRO, based in Singapore, the profile said.
