London Law Firm Promotes Trio As Partner

The managing partner believes the promotions demonstrate the strength of the firm's expertise.

London law firm Wedlake Bell have promoted Caroline Miller, Marc Leyshon and Tal Goldsmith to partners with the firm.

Miller joined the firm in April 2012. She is a member of the private client group and advises on a broad range of work from inheritance tax to estate planning. She specialises in contentious trust and probate matters including dealing with claims against estates and variation of trust applications.

Leyshon joined the firm in December 2011. He is a member of the commercial property team and instructs on landlord and tenant work, sales and acquisitions and property elements of finance transactions. His clients range from institutional landlords and residential developers to major lenders and corporates.

Goldsmith joined the firm in 2007. She is a member of the firm’s insolvency, restructuring and recoveries team. She practices in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and commercial litigation. She specialises in recovery of assets where fraud is involved.

“These promotions demonstrate the strength of the firm’s expertise across a breadth of key practice areas,”  Martin Arnold, managing partner, said. “The progression of internal staff to the partnership highlights Wedlake Bell’s commitment to the organic growth of its talent, alongside lateral hires. As a firm we reward excellence and hard work and are proud that 40 per cent of Wedlake Bell’s Partnership is female."
