UK Private Bank Hires CEO

The new recruit joins the firm from Barclays Bank, where he most recently served as CEO of Barclays Personal Banking UK and Europe.
UK private bank C Hoare &
Co has appointed Steven Cooper as its new chief
executive, with effect from 10 January. Cooper will report
to Lord Macpherson, chairman.
Cooper joins from Barclays Bank, where he most recently served as
CEO of Barclays Personal Banking UK and Europe, and CEO of
Barclaycard Business. He has more than three decades of
international banking experience.
He replaces former CEO and managing director, David Green, who
will be a consultant to the firm's board.
