New Office
Crestbridge "Brexit-Proofs" Business

The firm said its staffing numbers in Luxembourg have surged over the past year.
Crestbridge, which
provides global administration, management and corporate
governance solutions services, is moving to larger offices in
Luxembourg, a move that appears partly driven by a need to guard
against the impact of Brexit.
The new offices are at 1 Boulevard de la Foire. Besides
Luxembourg, the firm, which has more than 250 staff, also
operates from Bahrain, Cayman, Jersey and London.
“Driven partly by Brexit but also by Luxembourg’s focus on
asserting its position as the leading European jurisdiction for
cross-border investment fund distribution, we have continued to
see rising business levels over recent months and have expanded
and strengthened our team as a result," Daniela Klasén-Martin,
managing director of Luxembourg and group head of management
company services, said.
Last year the firm said that its Luxembourg team surged by more
than 69 per cent, adding Aleksander Jakima, Sue Saddul and
Pierfrancesco Rinaldi.
The firm set up a management company in Luxembourg in 2011,
providing a third-party management company solution for managers
of both UCITS and alternative investment funds, whilst in 2016
the firm became the manager for the first RAIF platform
established in the jurisdiction. Crestbridge can also provide
services to venture capital funds, having been granted a licence
in 2015 to act as a manager under the European Venture Capital
Funds (EuVECA) regulation.
“This move should send a clear message that we remain committed
to Luxembourg as a key strategic jurisdiction that forms a key
part of our international network," Klasén-Martin said.
