RBC Wealth Management Taps Inside Talent To Run Fiduciary, Trust Business

The Canada-based business has promoted 20-year veteran of RBC to run private client fiduciary teams in Jersey and Guernsey.
RBC Wealth Management has promoted Gail McCourt to head private client fiduciary services for its British Isles business based in Jersey.
McCourt takes on an expanded role leading the fiduciary and technical trust teams, reporting to RBC Europe chief Dave Thomas.
She started her career at RBC in 2003, and has headed up marketing, regional market strategy and client experience for its wealth arm. For the past four years, she has been in charge of fiduciary management.
The Royal Bank of Canada's wealth arm is one of the largest providers of fiduciary services in the Channel Islands, with around 300 in teams based at the group’s Jersey and Guernsey offices.
“Gail has built great momentum in fiduciary management over the past four years, particularly in supporting and empowering our teams, and delivering client service excellence and business efficiency,” Thomas said. In 2018, McCourt (pictured) was given a ‘Senior Leader Award’ by mental health charity Mind for her work in improving workplace inclusion. She graduated from the University of Ulster.
In November, the wealth management division promoted Juan Aronna to head its international and Asia investments business, responsible for teams in London, Jersey, Singapore and Hong Kong.
