The latest offerings in investments, such as funds and structured products, and other notable developments.
Vanguard
Vanguard has launched
the ESG Global All Cap UCITS ETF to provide broad global equity
exposure and screenings based on ESG criteria.
The fund has ongoing charges of 0.24 per cent and aims to track the FTSE Global All Cap Choice Index, which excludes companies involved in weapons, non-renewable energy, vice products and controversies related to the UN Global Compact Principles.
It will be managed by Vanguard’s Equity Index Group, which
manages around $5 trillion in assets globally and adds to five
funds already in the firm's line-up for environmentally and
socially conscious investors.
Fidelity International
Fidelity
International has launched its first exchange-traded funds
that track the fixed income market and in a way that fit
“sustainable” investing ideas.
The new offerings are Fidelity Sustainable Global Corporate Bond
Multifactor UCITS ETF and Fidelity Sustainable USD EM Bond UCITS
ETF.
The new ETFs form part of Fidelity’s sustainable family of funds.
At least 70 per cent will be invested in securities of companies
that maintain sustainable characteristics.
Fidelity Sustainable Global Corporate Bond Multifactor UCITS ETF
aims to deliver a sustainable enhanced global corporate bond
exposure.
Fidelity Sustainable USD EM Bond UCITS ETF offers an active
sustainable emerging market sovereign debt exposure through an
enhanced weighting to countries most favoured by Fidelity’s
Emerging Market debt factors heatmap, and an improved sustainable
footprint based on Fidelity’s Sustainable proprietary ratings and
external ESG ratings.
