What's New In Investments, Funds? - Vanguard, Fidelity

The latest offerings in investments, such as funds and structured products, and other notable developments.

Vanguard
Vanguard has launched the ESG Global All Cap UCITS ETF to provide broad global equity exposure and screenings based on ESG criteria.

The fund has ongoing charges of 0.24 per cent and aims to track the FTSE Global All Cap Choice Index, which excludes companies involved in weapons, non-renewable energy, vice products and controversies related to the UN Global Compact Principles.

It will be managed by Vanguard’s Equity Index Group, which manages around $5 trillion in assets globally and adds to five funds already in the firm's line-up for environmentally and socially conscious investors.

Fidelity International
Fidelity International has launched its first exchange-traded funds that track the fixed income market and in a way that fit “sustainable” investing ideas.

The new offerings are Fidelity Sustainable Global Corporate Bond Multifactor UCITS ETF and Fidelity Sustainable USD EM Bond UCITS ETF.

The new ETFs form part of Fidelity’s sustainable family of funds. At least 70 per cent will be invested in securities of companies that maintain sustainable characteristics.

Fidelity Sustainable Global Corporate Bond Multifactor UCITS ETF aims to deliver a sustainable enhanced global corporate bond exposure.

Fidelity Sustainable USD EM Bond UCITS ETF offers an active sustainable emerging market sovereign debt exposure through an enhanced weighting to countries most favoured by Fidelity’s Emerging Market debt factors heatmap, and an improved sustainable footprint based on Fidelity’s Sustainable proprietary ratings and external ESG ratings.
