The latest senior moves in wealth and asset management from across Europe and the UK.
Edison Group
Following sustained growth, research and investor relations
consultancy Edison
Group has appointed Andy Murphy as director of industrials
and financials; James Magness as director of energy and
renewables; and Luke Crowson and Lin Li as business development
managers.
Murphy was previously at Panmure Gordon where he covered the housebuilders, real estate and asset rental sectors.
Energy and cleantech specialist Magness will drive new opportunities for the group's expanding energy and renewables business. Magness spent two decades in finance and investments, with more than 10 years in research and equity sales, including as a senior equity analyst at a hedge fund in charge of long-short energy-related stock ideas.
Crowson was previously at Octopus Investments where he launched new investment products to the UK financial advisor and wealth management communities. His focus is on consumer, healthcare and financials sectors. He has previously worked with multiple fintech start-ups and began his career at Rothschild & Co.
Li covers TMT and industrial companies globally and was previously at BlackRock distributing actively managed strategies, risk management and bespoke portfolio solutions to non-institutional clients in the UK.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers
Lombard
Odier Investment Managers has named Selina Tyler as head of
UK Wholesale, part of bolstering the firm’s sustainable product
offering in the UK market.
She is joining in London from Mirabaud Asset Management, where she was head of wholesale, and will report to European head of sales Jonathan Clenshaw. Tyler will be in charge of LOIM’s UK wholesale proposition and distribution for intermediaries, including private banks, financial advisors and wealth managers.
She also spent six years as a UK sales director at Hermes
Investment Management and five years at Man Group.
Tilney Smith & Williamson
Tilney
Smith & Williamson, which manages more than £52 billion of
wealth for clients, has appointed Chris Littlefair as a financial
planner based in West Sussex.
Littlefair has worked in the space for more than 30 years. He has joined from Aviva where he spent three years as a financial adviser, prior to which he worked for Scottish Widows for more than two decades as a senior financial advisor.
