The firm issued a highly upbeat prognosis on the UK's standing as a wealth management source of business.
ZEDRA, which specialises
in wealth, corporate, global expansion and fund services, said
yesterday that it expects to record triple-digit revenue growth
in 2021, having expanded its client base by 20 per cent between
October 2020 and June 2021.
The statement from the firm didn’t provide a hard number on its
revenues; this publication has contacted ZEDRA and may update in
due course.
ZEDRA said that its headcount has also tripled in the same period
with an additional 139 employees.
In a bullish comment about the UK wealth sector and life beyond
the departure from the European Union, ZEDRA noted the recent
Boston Consulting Group report which said that in 2020, UK wealth
grew faster than the European average: 7 per cent in the UK
compared with 5 per cent for Western Europe.
Over the past year, ZEDRA made two acquisitions in the UK: the
global expansion firm, Fitzgerald & Law, and the institutional
pension scheme governance service provider, Inside Pensions. The
former has expanded ZEDRA's London offering to include a full
suite of services required by multinationals when expanding
overseas including accounting, tax, HR and payroll. The latter
serves trustees of pension trusts.
As of today, Inside Pensions has been rebranded to ZEDRA and the
team, led by Ryan Powell and Rachael Fortescue, remains located
in their St Albans' office.
