More UK Offices Planned For Schroders

As September marks a return for businesses and schools, Schroders has announced a new northern hub in Leeds and one to follow in Birmingham.

Schroders Personal Wealth has opened an operational centre in Leeds as it continues to grow its UK regional focus.

The Leeds office will be located in the central City Square area and act as the regional hub for the firm’s Yorkshire and Northeast clients.

The move follows recent office additions in Cardiff, Bristol, Horsham, Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh, Exeter and Manchester. The firm said an office in Birmingham is due to open in October.

Each region is led by a regional director who is helped by a team of personal wealth advisors and a local support team.

“Expanding our regional presence will ensure that our clients can benefit from a more personal and local experience, allowing them to develop strong relationships with our advisors and support teams within the region,” Schroders Personal Wealth chief executive, Mark Duckworth, said.

This news service has recently reported on the importance that firms place on maintaining a regional footprint and where managers have lately been setting up extra services and support.

Some of that coverage can be found here and here.
