Raiffeisen Switzerland, Backbase
Banking technology provider Backbase has signed a long-term collaboration with Raiffeisen Switzerland, through which the tech firm aids the bank in building its client interface. 

Raiffeisen will base its retail and small and medium-sized business digital offerings on the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform. Raiffeisen is sweeping all its digital services onto a single platform.

The bank said that as part of its 2025 strategy, Raiffeisen aims to “consistently evolve from a product provider to a solution provider” – hence its work with Backbase. 

More than 120 large financial institutions around the world use Backbase technology, such as Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citibank, Societe Generale, Royal Bank of Canada, Westpac and AIB.
