The departure of the CCO isn't connected to third-quarter results due out on 27 October, the report said. The bank declined to comment.
The chief compliance officer of Credit Suisse – due to
report third-quarter results later this week – will be leaving
the Swiss bank in the next few weeks, Bloomberg news has
reported.
Rafael Lopez’s departure is not linked to a strategic review that
the bank is carrying out, the report, which cited unnamed
sources, said.
The bank declined to comment to this news service.
Separately,
as reported here, the bank has settled legacy issues with
French authorities.
The bank, beset by a run of losses and missteps, has moved to
restructure its business, downgrade a focus on capital-hungry
investment banking, and pivot towards area such as wealth
management.
Credit Suisse will issue Q3 results on 27 October.
