IQ-EQ Creates New Global Head Of Sales Operations Role

The organisation, which operates from a number of jurisdictions, has created a number of new senior positions in recent years.
Global investor services group IQ-EQ has appointed former
senior HSBC figure Matthew Abbott to the newly-created role of
global head of sales operations. He is based in London.
Abbott has more than 20 years’ industry experience spanning
investor and asset servicing and wealth management. He was
previously director and global head of sales and client
enablement for HSBC Securities Services. He has also held
director-level positions with RBC Wealth Management International
and RBC Investor & Treasury Services.
In his new post, Abbott reports to Emma Crabtree, group chief
commercial officer.
In September last year, IQ-EQ Global promoted Guernsey-based
Alasdair McLaren to the newly-created position of regional head
of private wealth for the UK, Ireland, and Crown Dependencies. In
early August, IQ-EQ appointed Diana Senanayake as regional CEO
for continental Europe and managing director of its Luxembourg
headquarters.
IQ-EQ, which employs a global workforce of more than
4,300 people located in 24 jurisdictions, has assets under
administration exceeding $750 billion.
