Indosuez's Digital Services Arm Appoints New CEO
The new CEO has served in senior roles within Indosuez in regions including Asia.
Azqore, a digital
service provider for wealth managers, and part of Indosuez Wealth
Management, has appointed Pierre Masclet as its chief
executive.
Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Masclet is a member of Indosuez’s
management committee and reports to Jacques Prost, chief
executive of Indosuez. He is succeeding Pascal Exertier, who
is retiring, the firm said in a statement yesterday. The
appointment takes effect at the start of May.
Masclet has over 30 years of experience in wealth management
within the group. He began his career at Banque Indosuez in 1992.
From 1995 to 2005, he joined the front office teams of Indosuez
Wealth Management in France. In 2005, Masclet took over
responsibility for the product teams and the private clients of
the Crédit Agricole Regional Banks. In 2008, he was appointed
head of business development for Indosuez in France. In 2012, he
moved on to Indosuez in Switzerland as head of markets,
investment and structuring, before being named CEO of Indosuez in
Asia in 2017.
Subsequently, Masclet became deputy CEO of Indosuez in 2019 where
he led business development for the group.
Azqore specialises in information systems outsourcing and banking
transaction processing for the wealth management industry, and
has been in the business for almost three decades. It has
completed more than 60 bank migrations on its banking platform;
it serves 26 clients worldwide with a total of about SFr200
billion ($214.8) in assets under management.
Masclet is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de
Paris (ESCP). He holds a master's in business law from the Paris
II University and a DESS (Specialised Graduate Diploma) in
international taxation at HEC.
