Quintet Private Bank Names New Group Chief Operating Officer

The new group COO has spent many years as the trusted partner of prominent wealth managers worldwide, advising them on how best to compete and build profitable, sustainable and future-proof business models.

Quintet Private Bank, the European parent of Brown Shipley, has appointed Anna Zakrzewski as group chief operating officer and member of the authorized management committee, subject to regulatory approval.

Zakrzewski has joined Quintet in Luxembourg with immediate effect and will work with outgoing Quintet Group COO Eli Leenaars during a transition period. Leenaars is retiring from Quintet at the end of this year, following a career spanning nearly four decades in executive roles.

Zakrzewski, a German national who was educated in the Middle East, Europe, the UK and Australia, has spent many years as the trusted partner of prominent wealth managers worldwide, advising them on how best to compete and build profitable, sustainable and future-proof business models.

Previously, Zakrzewski served for over two decades at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as managing director and partner, rising to membership of BCG’s global Financial Institutions Leadership team and leading the Wealth Management segment globally for many years.

“Building on her distinguished track record leading and implementing large strategy programs, post-merger integrations, transformations and growth agendas in wealth management, Anna will play a key role in driving Quintet’s sustained success,” Group CEO Chris Allen, said.

Quintet Private Bank (Europe) SA, founded in 1949, is headquartered in Luxembourg and operates in 50 cities across Europe, staffed by some 2,000 professionals. Quintet serves wealthy individuals and their families, as well as a broad range of institutional and professional clients, including family offices, foundations and external asset managers.
