Gulf Investment Fund Names Non-Executive Director
The listed company invests in businesses across the GCC region.
The Gulf
Investment Fund, a UK-listed investment company, has
appointed former JP Morgan Asset Management and Schroders senior
figure Patrick Grant as a non-executive director, taking effect
from yesterday.
Grant was head of the Middle East for JP Morgan Asset Management
for a decade; following that he was in the same role for
Schroders for more than 12 years. His earlier career
included working at John Swire & Sons across Asia (including in
Bahrain) after six years as an officer in the British Army
(Gurkhas). He has a degree in modern history from Oxford
University.

He knows the region in detail. He understands investment
management. And he has current, detailed knowledge of the
Gulf Cooperation Council states, and how they are developing
