Appleby, the offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services firm, has launched a fiduciary offering in Guernsey following approval being granted by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

Appleby first opened its Guernsey office in April, initially providing legal services, and now through Appleby Trust (Guernsey) the firm will offer fiduciary services to high net worth individuals, private companies, funds and global corporations.

Managing director of the new business is Chris Ward, who has over 25 years of experience in the offshore trust sector, during which he has worked with both listed and unlisted companies, and has overseen the management of a variety of different businesses. These include hedge funds, shipping firms, non-profit organizations and property groups.

Appleby also has trust businesses in Jersey and the Isle of Man.
