Canaccord Names New Portfolio Management Head For Guernsey

Canadian-headquartered firm Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (latterly known as Collins Stewart Wealth Management) has appointed Chris Colclough as head of portfolio management, based in Guernsey.

Colclough joined the firm in 2009 as a senior investment manager in its wealth management division. Before that, he served at HSBC Global Asset Management for six years in various roles, including as a portfolio manager.

In his new role, Colclough will be responsible for the portfolio management and client servicing teams. He will work closely with the other wealth management teams based in Geneva, the Isle of Man, Jersey and London to develop and promote Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s services internationally. His role includes the development of business relationships with local private clients and intermediaries.

In other recent hires at the firm, earlier this month Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management appointed Richard Burden as business development manager, based in the Isle of Man.

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management manages approximately £10 billion ($15.5 billion) of assets on behalf of some 12,000 clients from offices in London, Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and Geneva.
