Natixis GAM Creates Senior Business, Client Relationship Role In Hong Kong

Natixis Global Asset Management, one of the largest asset management firms in the world, has bolstered its Hong Kong business development arm with the creation of a new senior position.

From 9 September 2013, Davy Yuen assumed the role of director, head of wholesale distribution in Hong Kong. In this newly-created post, he is responsible for new business and client relationship management functions across private banks, consumer banks, insurance companies and IFAs via Natixis' network of affiliates. These include Natixis AM, Loomis Sayles, Harris Associates and AEW Capital. 

Yuen joins the firm after serving for six years at Man Investments (Hong Kong) as executive director. Prior to that, he led the wholesale and distribution business in the Greater China region. He also previously worked for UBS Global Asset Management, Invesco Asset Management and Janus International.

He reports to Madeline Ho, head of wholesale distribution for Asia-Pacific and managing director of NGAM Singapore. 

Natixis Global Asset Management specialises in absolute return, alternatives, fixed income, equities and real estate, and manages some $783.3 billion in assets globally as at 30 June 2013. The firm recorded a 49 per cent increase in Asia-sourced AuM in the last three years to $24 billion as at 31 March 2013.
