Global Asset Manager Announces Senior Hire In Hong Kong

Pinebridge Investments, the global asset manager, has boosted its Asian business with a senior hire in Hong Kong.

Effective immediately, Yoohee Won becomes managing director for business development in the Asia region. In this newly-created role, Won will focus on building the firm's relationships with institutional clients across the region, including Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea. He reports to Rajeev Mittal, chief executive for Asia-Pacific.

Won brings over 14 years of financial services experience to Pinebridge and most recently served as CEO of BNY Mellon Asset Management Korea. He also worked for Samsung Investment Trust Management.

"Our Asia business is pivotal to the firm's global strategy and we remain focused on driving growth across the region," said Mittal. 

PineBridge manages $68.4 billion for institutional and individual investors worldwide as at 30 June 2013. It was established in 2009 in Asia and offers fund management, investment advisory and asset management services in the region.
