New CEO Named At NAB's Private Wealth Management Business

NAB finally names a new CEO for JBWere to replace Paul Heath who left in June 2013.
National Australia Bank, one of Australia's Big Four banks, has announced the appointment of a new chief executive for JBWere, its Australia and New Zealand-focused private wealth management business.
Justin Greiner joins the bank from ANZ, another Big Four bank, where he most recently served as general manager for wealth transformation. Prior to that, he was the head of private NSW and head of advisory also at ANZ. He also worked as head of retail and chief operating officer at Greenway Capital, head of financial planning at Westpac and head of corporate development at Rothschild Australia Asset Management.
The appointment takes effect in early February 2014, said the firm in a statement. Paul Heath, the previous chief executive, resigned in June after 19 years with the company.
JBWere, which services individuals, institutions and family offices, is the product of an alliance between NAB and Goldman Sachs JBWere in 2009. It is 80.1 per cent owned by NAB, while the Goldman holds the remaining 19.9 per cent.
