MAS Announces Board Reappointments

The Singapore financial regulator announces two reappointments to its board of directors.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore, the city-state's financial regulatory body, has announced two reappointments to its board of directors.

Effective 1 January 2014 to 31 May 2016, Lim Chee Onn, senior international advisor for Singbridge Private, and Peter Ong, permanent secretary of the Ministry of Finance, join the now nine-member board.

The MAS board is led by Tharman Shanmugaratnam, deputy prime minister of the Ministry of Finance, as chairman, and Lim Hng Kiang, minister of trade and industry, as deputy chairman.
