Rowan Dartington, the UK discretionary wealth manager, has appointed Andrew Snowball as business relationship director.

In this newly created role, Snowball will be responsible for Rowan Dartington’s advisor growth strategy and overseeing the development of relationships with new and existing clients, the Bristol-based firm said in a statement.

Snowball has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and previously worked as group development director at Lighthouse Group. He has also held senior positions within networks at Sumus and Financial Services Advice and Support.

Rowan Dartington, which has six branches and 90 staff across the south and west of England, oversees £850 million (around $1.4 billion) in assets under management. The firm specialises in advisory and discretionary investment management, as well as offering stockbroking services.
