JTC Group, the Jersey-based provider of fund services, continued a run of recent expansion announcements by saying it has allied with two firms in the European Union bloc – a business in the Netherlands and another in Cyprus. The move brings JTC’s footprint to 18 jurisdictions.

The alliances are with Trust Company Amsterdam, with a focus on corporate structuring work, and Aspen Trust Group in Cyprus, which provides a range of services to both private and corporate clients, including structuring cross-border solutions.
“Our ‘Alliance Partner’ strategy is to extend our international reach and provide additional services to our worldwide client base. There is a growing trend for clients to seek flexible, multi-jurisdictional  solutions and through these two alliances with high quality partners based in EU locations,  we will have greater capabilities in servicing new clients in growth markets including Russia,” Nigel Le Quesne, chief executive and chairman of JTC Group, said in a statement.
